We booked Cabin 4 very nearly last-minute for an impromptu trip up north, so my husband could get in a fishing trip. The cabin and the facility as a whole exceeded our expectations. The owners were very friendly. Our stay was peaceful and rejuvenating, and the view of the lake was breathtaking. Our daughter and her husband came up to spend a day with us and took a rowboat out onto the lake, and they were equally taken with the place. We're already talking about coming back to stay again.

We had a great time during our week end stay! Very nice and clean cabins and lake! Beautifully relaxing just what the doctor ordered! I have shared your link on FB and have told all my friends!!

Our stay at pine lake cabins was very enjoyable . There is really a lot to do there. Unfortunately it rained and was cloudy more than sunny. ( which no one could control) Everyone we spoke to was very friendly to include the hosts. Aug 2021

It's a quiet, easy going, serene place that gives people an opportunity to get away from the busyness of life. We enjoyed all the hiking and paddling. We will be back! O

My brother and I spent 5 days here fishing and relaxing. Stayed in cabin 4 and it was perfect for the 2 of us. The Bobinacs had dock space for us to bring our bass boat and we’re very great hosts. Our cabin was clean and Rick refilled the fire wood pile every evening. Marie was very welcoming and stopped by on the bike a couple times and made sure everything was going good. Caught lots of fat bass and had a couple big pike also. A lot of Eagles flying around also. Definitely will try to make it a yearly trip.

What a hidden gem! We discovered this cabin as a home base for steelhead fishing the Big Manistee River and booked last minute, which was a breeze to do thanks to Pine Lake Cabins easy reservation process. Communication with the owners was impeccable, welcoming us on our first evening and especially when we had a small heat issue early our 1st morning there (they answered, via text, and fixed the problem immediately). The cabin itself had everything we needed and worked perfectly for the two of us. We enjoyed a bon fire one evening, which was prepared ahead of time by the owner, to our delight. Would ABSOULTLY stay here again!!!

We stayed for two nights while on a salmon fishing trip. We enjoyed the stay and also being able to use the row boats on the lake to fish was an added bonus. We caught a pike and some bass on the lake. Thank you again and look forward to a future stay.

My grandson, Cameron and I had a great time at Pine Lake Cabins. We fished, kayaked and day tripped to Lake Michigan. The resort, and owners are top notch. We will be back.

Peaceful location to explore nature on-site and a great jumping off place to explore the entire Manistee River natural area. Quiet, friendly resort with lots of extras - horseshoes, badminton, etc. Cabin was spotless.

Thank you Rick & Marie for a great location and stay. We just love the campfires talks and the wonderful lake front. The cabins have become quite cute! We hope to have more opportunities to stay with ya in the future, Donna & Tom M.

As always I enjoyed my week at Pine Lake Cabins and this time staying in Cabin 4. The cabin was clean with all the comforts of home and nature is just a step out the door. Marie and Rick are great hosts, always there to lead you to a good restaurant or a place to check out off the beaten path. I cannot say enough about Pine Lake, I love it, and its beauty! If you want a week full of adventure or a week of just kicking back, Pine Lake Cabins is the place for you and your family.

We had a great time! Cabins were clean and well stocked with everything you need and the price was very reasonable. The beds were comfy but noisy when you move but no problem. Already made reservations for next year

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and organized. We were here in the winter and the cabin was plenty warm and cozy. The hosts even invited us to a bonfire on the beach. We were very happy with our stay.

Setting on pine lk is beautiful and peaceful. Cabins are always clean and very comfortable. Hosts are very helpful and great people. It's definitely one of my favorite places and a Destination for our group every year. Thanks for Having us. See you next year.

We had a great week at Pine Lake Cabins. Brought back a lot of memories from when I was a child. The place is looking good since it was 50 years ago that I was there. Rick and Marie are doing a good job.

We spent the weekend in Cabin 4 and it was great! It’s a small quiet place on a small quiet lake, which is exactly what we were looking for! The cabins were clean and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The service provided by Rick and Marie was great and they were very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Wife and I spent the weekend exploring the area by day. The stars at night! Our cabin functioned flawlessly, we were totally comfortable. Thanks for the great time. We will see you again!

My family and I spent 3 wonderful days at pine lake cabins, we rented cabins 2,3,4, which included my kids and grand kids. We had a great time swing, kayaking, and the kids played in the sand with the sand toys provided. The boys played horse shoes and played cards in the boathouse that was provided and we even got a couple volleyball games going that was also provided. There is so much to do st this scenic resort between the fishing and everything we did we are definitely going back, thank you so much for the wonderful visit.

Marie and Rick take such pride in their "home" that they shared with all of us. The grounds and the cabins were kept very nice. Booking a large groups was super fun as we had the entire area and felt quite comfy. I'd definitely make this a favorite get-away if I lived closer.

The cabin and the property is amazing. It was really great to get to go kayaking on the lake! The cabin was spotless when we arrived with everything we needed!

This place was everything we could’ve ever hoped for. The cabin was spotless and super cozy, right on the lake, and in a secluded part of the forest, making it perfect for a getaway from the city. My brother and I came here to spend time together, and we’ve decided that Pine Lake Cabins will be our go-to getaway spot from here on out! The owners were very friendly but still gave us our space. There were kayaks and canoes available, and they even set up some wood in the fire pit to make it easy to light! It really felt like the beginning of summertime!

We had a great time. A great place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. These cabins are right on the lakefront and were clean and had a rustic charm. We watched Bald eagles and loons on the lake and we went fishing every day. plenty of fishing boats and some kayaks for guests to use was a nice perk too. No sounds of traffic or city noise at all. Price was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.

We felt like we stumbled onto such a unique property that we hate to share it with everyone else! Our cabin was very clean, cozy and the beds were very comfortable (mattresses were brand new!) We especially enjoyed watching bald eagles as we kayaked around the peaceful lake. The swimming area looked like it had a nice sandy bottom and would be perfect for young families (we are empty nesters). We are already studying next summer's calendar to plan when we can return!

I have camped in the Wellston area since a kid (Black Smith Bayou, Udell Rollaways - when it existed :(, and a few other places), however, my daughter did a search and found 2 cabins for us to take a small family vacation.. Not going to lie we were unsure as to how it would be but when we pulled up and saw the AWESOME beach area and how quiet Pine Lake was we extended our stay another day!!

We stayed in cabin 4... It was very clean and cozy!! The place is rustic and beautiful!! Lots to do no matter what your pleasure!! If its Fishing they got it.. If its boating they got it...if its hangin around the campfire and relaxing or checking out the wildlife (Bald Eagle, Deer, we saw them) They got that to! We had a fabulous time and the owners, Rick and Marie are fantastic hosts!! We came with friends for the weekend and are already planning our return trip in the fall!! This place is absolutely beautiful!!

The new owners have really went the extra mile with this cabin resort. Most cabins have new appliances, bathrooms updated, and Samsung tv's. Brilliant blend of rustic cabin in the woods feel with modern amenities. I will be going back for years to come.
