We had the best time at Pine Lake Cabins! The cabins are so nice, clean and well stocked. The lake is absolutely gorgeous! The owners Marie and Rick are the best hosts. We enjoyed the beautiful west Michigan area and spent a lot of time at the cabins down at the bonfire, horseshoes, corn-hole and kayaking Pine Lake. We can’t wait to go back!!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Pine Lake. We have enjoyed our stay both times. You can tell Rick and Marie take pride in their property. You can see they are upgrading the grounds each year. The cabins are clean and the lake is beautiful. I love the boat house they have with life jackets, chairs, a radio and games provided. They are generous with their wood supply and have kayaks and row boats as part of the amenities is great! We will definitely be returning!

I think this was out 5th or 6th year coming to Pine Lake Cabins. Our family members from northern lower Michigan and southern Michigan meet in the middle! We go mushrooming, fishing on Pine Lake, Tippy Dam or High Bridge and of course exploring the beautiful woods. The owners are always so welcoming, the wood pile is well stocked and a fire is ready to go. It’s very pleasant to just sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake or there are kayaks available too. It’s a great place to stay and we will be back. Thank you Rick and Marie.

I have been staying at Pine Lake off and on for 40 years. The area is excellent for fishing and hunting. The cabins are clean and well furnished. The owners are top notch and treat the guests well. Highly recommend!

Thanks Rick & Marie for the great time we had at the lake and cabins. Everyone said they all really enjoyed the time there. All the kids had a blast and not a second was wasted. All the ones that fished caught fish. Mostly they fished for bass but also caught two Pike. The swimming was wonderful and the water nice and warm. You guys were great hosts and we liked visiting with you and hearing what's going on. We had four cabins and no complaints. We had one big meal together with chicken from the Dublin Store, excellent. I would liked to have stayed another week, it was so relaxing.

Every thing was perfect! Nice people everything you need is either provided or close by. Cant wait to come back next year!!

We always have such a fun family weekend at Pine Lake Cabins. The owners (Rick & Marie) always make us feel so welcomed. They work hard to keep the cabins and grounds well kept and it’s appreciated by their guests. We will definitely keep returning there for our family’s yearly spring get away.

This is my 3rd year going with my family and it's always our best trip! The grounds are beautiful and spacious and Rick and Marie are amazing! They are so generous and have more than enough supplies in each of the cabins, as well as, on the grounds. There's wood, games, canoes, and so much more. I'd recommend Pine Lake everyday :)

Our family loved our stay at Pine Lake Cabins! Each cabin was very clean. Rick and Marie were very welcoming! The extras that were available on the property were great. The boat house with a picnic table, games, floaties, sand toys and life jackets were great for the kids. Having kayaks and canoes available without an extra cost is unheard-of! Supplying firewood and a big campfire area was great for our large family. The lake was warm and sandy too. No complaints from this group!

We are a group that have ridden motorcycles together in the spring for the last 46 years. We needed to find a new camp with clean, comfortable cabins with a community fire pit in the general northwest Michigan area. This was our first year at Pine Lake Cabins and we already renewed our reservation for next year. Rick and Marie are awesome hosts and everything about the whole camp is just "up north friendly". This was our 4th year coming to Pine Lake Cabins with our kids and grandkids. We always enjoy our time there. When the mushrooms aren't cooperating we enjoy traveling the area, fishing, playing games and weather permitting swimming. The owners are very friendly and really want to make sure your stay is a good one. We'll be back again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was great, very clean and comfortable. Rick and Marie were great host, gave us great insight to the area and we’re ready to help in any way. The property and lake are beautiful and well maintained. Looking forward to a return visit.

We have stayed here several time and they never disappoint us. We stay in the oldest/largest cabin so our whole family can stay together. This last visit we enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and kayaked during the day. Mushrooming hunting was not very successful for us this year but maybe next year! The owners are always helpful and the Cabins are clean. Looking forward to next year!

Hi Rick, Marie Thank you again for hosting my friends and family for 3 beautiful days in the Manistee National Forest. We really enjoyed ourselves very much and will be coming back again (maybe for Ice Fishing?) for sure hunting again. Great hosts, great cabins ! Kids loved it. Amazing view.

We had a wonderful stay in Cabin 7! The cabin itself was very clean and ready for us to enjoy upon arrival. I felt like everything they described on their website was how it was during our time there. Cabin 7 bathroom is small, but it got the job done. Booking on the website was easy and communication from start to finish was on point. Rick and Marie are very welcoming, friendly, ready to help if you need anything or have questions about the area, they make you feel at home. I can tell they take pride in their property and it shows. For us the property was large enough for all to spread out and enjoy. The lake itself is stunning, this is located in the midst of the Manistee National Forest, and most of the lake is not developed. I enjoyed the tree lined, crystal clear lake and the resident Bald Eagle put on a fishing show one evening. This is a remote area, so unplug and enjoy it! Wellston and Dublin are close by for conveniences you may need. We took a day trip to hike Arcadia Dunes Baldy Trails, just a few miles north of Arcadia on M22, very well marked trails with maps at each intersection along the way. The Dunes were an awesome sight to see on a sunny day with all the blues of Lake Michigan showing. So much to love about Northern Michigan! -Steve & Theresa

Once again, had a great time at the lake. Cabin was very nice and clean. Was nice to be able to use the kayaks and enjoy some time exploring the lake.

Marie and Rick are great hosts, the location is isolated, cell phone coverage is sketchy. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Kayaking at dawn with the eagles, clear water, kayaking in the evening. Very few other people. If you want rustic, on a lake, isolated, this is the place. If you want a lot of people with high speed internet and cable TV, go somewhere else, please. This location is for those who want to unwind, unplug, enjoy life. Row boats, kayaks, floats, docks, fire wood,clear water,clean air, all included. A price that cannot be beat. Thanks Marie and Rick , we will be back.

This was our families second year at the resort. We find it to be such a hidden gem. The cabins are clean, the grounds are well kept , they offer row boats and kayaks. As an added bonus, the owners are around if you have a question or need something. And there is a large fire pit area with plenty of wood, benches and chairs!

Rick & Marie are great hosts. Cabin was a great northern cabin, it met our needs for the ATV trip we were on. Orv trails were a little more difficult to get to then expected, but Rick was knowledgeable about getting us there. The cabin and the area was very nice and relaxing. Rick was great to just b.s. with. All in all a great place to stay and visit Will be returning for another great weekend in the future. Matt

Me and my family of 6 stayed in the Lodge. From the time we pulled in we were so impressed! The lake is so clear and beautiful and perfect for little ones. Usually when we go on vacation we always go to Lake Michigan but this place was so peaceful and had everything we needed we didn't leave. There were kayaks and rowboats for our use and they had a cute little lake house with anything you needed like beach toys rafts and life jackets. The lodge was set back a little ways from the lake with our own little yard and a great view. There were four bedrooms and it felt very clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was the perfect up north cabin.I didn't want to leave and we will without a doubt be back! My kids had a great time.

Our grandchildren had a great time reconnecting with their cousins at this favorite spot while enjoying swimming, fishing, and playing outdoors. The quiet at night makes for good sleep, and the lake scenery is so pretty and relaxing. The memories from many past vacations here flowed through our minds, but we also appreciated the recent upgrades to the cottages. Hope to come again next year.

We had a great stay at Pine Lake cabin 7. We had everything we needed in this super clean cabin. The lake and grounds were beautiful. My college age kids loved playing badminton, horse shoes and kayaking the lake. We all enjoyed the loons, eagles and sitting around the communal fire. Rick and Marie were great hosts and have worked hard to make Pine Lake Cabins a great place to stay.

Thank you Rick and Marie for providing a great getaway for our family. LOVE all the little extras you do to make our stay simple and very enjoyable. This was our 23 Memorial Day weekend @ Pine Lake and was the best one yet!! The weather was perfect. We almost don't want to give away this secret location but it's a great place to chill and reconnect with family & friends. You can do as much or as little as you want to recharge from busy everyday lives. Thanks so much and can't wait to visit again soon!

We had such a fun time! Our cabin was nice and clean, each night there was a campfire down by the lake and there were kayaks/boats available for our use. Our grandkids enjoyed beating the adults many times playing badminton and volleyball! We will definitely be back. This place is nicely tucked back in the woods.

I booked Cabin #7, "the lodge," and had a great experience from the point of reservation until after we left. Rick and Marie were super helpful answering a few questions of mine via phone and email before we arrived, and once we got there, they were quick to help us get the boats and kayaks set up, they already had wood stacked in the fire pit waiting for us, and they were available late in the night when we accidentally got locked out of our cabin! Besides the great customer service, the cabin itself was clean and comfortable, and the location right on the beautiful lake is unbeatable! Definitely recommend!

what a gorgeous setting this place is and right next to trail 6 in wellston! we stayed in cabin 7 which is full logs with a fireplace. it was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. the full kitchen was a bonus. the owners were very helpful and kind. definitely will be back!

We stayed in cabin 7 over Labor Day weekend and had a very nice time. The cabin was great and the owners are very friendly. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks for a nice relaxing stress free vacation.

We came for a family members birthday. The cabin is spacious and easily fit the seven of us. Even though the weather wasn't what we were expecting (mid 60's and a little rainy) we had a fantastic time. Kayaking the lake was such a joy, we did it more than once. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We didn't feel like a burden asking any questions. We had a wonderful time and plan on going back.
